Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to take my phone case off to charge?

No. Our wireless chargers are designed to be case-friendly and will charge through most non-metal cases up to 5mm thick. This includes silicone, TPU, and plastic cases. However, thick/heavy-duty cases or cases with magnets/metal (like wallets) may interfere.

What's the difference between "MagSafe Compatible" and "Qi Certified"?

Qi is the universal standard for all wireless charging. "Qi Certified" means our charger is safe and compatible with any wireless-charging phone (iPhone, Samsung, Google). "MagSafe Compatible" means our charger also includes magnets that perfectly align and "snap" to MagSafe-enabled iPhones (iPhone 12 and newer) for the most efficient charge.

My phone gets a little warm when charging. Is this normal?

Yes, it is perfectly normal for your phone to get slightly warm during a wireless charging session, just as it does with a cable. Our chargers have built-in temperature control to ensure it never gets dangerously hot. If your phone ever feels hot to the touch, stop charging and contact us.

Why is my iPhone only charging at 7.5W on a 15W charger?

This is a safety limit set by Apple. While our charger offers 15W, Apple's iPhones (8-15) are currently designed to accept a maximum of 7.5W from standard Qi chargers. Our charger intelligently provides the 7.5W your iPhone requests. 15W charging is available for many Android devices.

What does the flashing light mean?

A flashing LED light usually means Foreign Object Detection (FOD) has been activated. This is a safety feature that stops the charger from working if it detects a metal object like keys, coins, or credit cards. Remove the object from the pad, wait a few seconds, and try charging again.

Does this charger come with a wall adapter (brick)?

This depends on the model. Our charging pads and stands include the built-in wireless charger and a premium USB-C cable. To get the maximum 15W fast charging speed, you must pair it with a wall adapter (brick) of 20W or higher (sold separately in our Wall Charger collection).
